Cosmic Way Part 8
Death Without Divine Consciousness
For the man or woman without Divine Consciousness, death is described as a meaningless event. The transition from life to death is portrayed as the movement from living matter to non-living matter, symbolizing the spiritual emptiness of such a life.
The ultimate fate of the spiritually empty person is described as eternal nothingness. Their consciousness is extinguished, and there is no continuation of their existence beyond death, reflecting their lack of alignment with the Creator’s Purpose.
Death With Divine Consciousness
For those who attain Divine Consciousness, the situation is different. While their physical body may perish, their spirit remains with the Whole. The text presents the idea of immortality not as the preservation of the body, but as the continuation of spirit within the greater unity of the Whole.
The Community of Divine Consciousness
The passage emphasizes that those who are part of the Community of Divine Consciousness are not subject to annihilation upon death. Their consciousness is connected to the Community, which itself is aligned with the Creator’s Purpose. As long as the Community continues to live and serve the One True Purpose, the consciousness of its members persists. This suggests an idea of eternal service to the Purpose, transcending physical death.
The members of this community, having served the Purpose during their lifetimes, continue to serve it in eternity. This spiritual service and unity with the Whole give them a form of immortality, where their consciousness lives on as part of the eternal progression toward self-realization and completion.
